DESCRIPTION:This course is designed for individuals who want an introduction to welding but cannot commit to a full-day program. Over the span of three hours\, students work directly with a skilled instructor using state-of-the-art equipment. The class is ideal for those new to welding or for experienced welders who want to refresh and refine their skills. \nKey features include: \n\nEmphasis on the short-circuit MIG welding process for carbon steel\nInstruction geared toward thinner materials\, typically under 1/4"\nMinimal lecture\, with most of the time spent in the welding lab\nApproximately two hours of hands-on “arc-on” experience\n\nThis class is three hours in duration and is offered in a Morning Session (8:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.) or an Afternoon Session (12:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.). \nWhat to Bring (Students are encouraged to bring their own Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) \n\nSafety glasses\nProtective welding jacket\nWelding gloves\nWelding Helmet\n\nNotes: \n\nIf a student doesn’t have the PPE described above\, these items will be provided for use during class.\nLeather closed-toed shoes or equivalent are required in the welding lab.\nAbsolutely no shorts or open-toed shoes are allowed in the welding lab.\n\nGeneral Air Denver1105 Zuni St.Denver\, CO 80204 \n Please contact us at registration@generalair.com with any questions.
